Dear Mr.Hecock

I am wishing to apply for a spot in your school for grade 9, I have been to your open house and I am looking forward to booking an interview with you.

Currently I am attending The Sterling Hall School, and I have been here for 5 years. Sterling Hall has changed my life in many was whether it is in the classroom or out. I have learned to be a superior leader and to be more kind to the things around me if they are mine or not. One of the best things is that happened to me was in grade 6 when I was voted to be the Student Council representative for my class. This educated me on how to work with younger students and to keep more organized with my ideas, and if they were good ones than it would be helpful to the school. In grade 8 every boy gets a leadership role so we can all get a chance to be a leader. I was chosen to be The Arts Captain, and within this role I have to achieve various tasks. These tasks entail me helping to teach Art, Music, or Drama classes, helping to plan concerts, Art auctions, and plays produced by the Arts team. Overall going to SHS was the best decision that I have ever made so far in my life: not only do I discover a lot, I enjoy it too.

Crestwood Preparatory College is a school I have not only been looking forward to going to because I have heard a lot of positive information from my brother Alex Boas who is a grade 11 student at Crestwood but I am also looking forward to bring a lot of things with me on the way. When I was at the open house I was shown a yearbook, and that made me think of what I could do to make it better. I have been in the Yearbook Elective at SHS for 3 years and I have learned skills on how to take pictures and how to create pages. Also during assemblies, plays, spirit events and other school measures I could either take pictures, or take some video footage. A few years ago my brother brought home a video, it was like a yearbook, it would be nice if the video footage that I talked about earlier could be put into this video. I have also wanted to make a few more fundraisers present so we can help people out in the world that need it most.

In conclusion I would like to say how much I am looking forward to bringing new ideas to Crestwood and also taking part in all of the interesting courses like physical education and the visual arts elective.

Yours Sincerely

Scott Boas
